I would like for there to be an option to “ignore” users you choose kinda like block, but instead of disabling any type of communication towards you that it straight up removes for u their messages in public tournaments (that they don’t appear in any way) so that you can avoid annoying ragebaiters preventing getting mad and then chatbanned
Thank you...

Have you had a habit of "getting mad" at rage-baiters, bursting out, and receiving a chatban? If so, perhaps consider that an anger-management class would help more than having an "ignore" feature added (remember that the devs are mostly volunteers/part-timers who spend lots of effort making 'little' changes to Lichess).

Well so u mean tmt chat right ?
Well 2 types of block can be hard to implement so better those we block in dms we cant see their chats in the tmt chat room if I understand correctly

I agree.
There are many ragebaiters who actually ruin your mood.
We can have a default ignore button so that their chats or their lobby do not shows up.
But it's not a complete block as well.

Seems like you would need an anger management course too.

We cant see games of players whom we block if u noticed so if such a feature is implemented in tmt chats and team chats too its nice. That WE CANT SEE MSGES OF BLOCKED PPL IN TEAM CHATS OR TMT CHATS !!

Rhetorically, what part of what I said suggests that I require an anger management course?
Additionally, for what[ever little] my opinion is worth, I have encountered such people as the OP has described in tourney, simul and game chats, and even forum threads. I have never felt the need to get mad, or indeed, be emotionally affected. Therefore, it is my opinion that this feature would be of little worth, but of great trouble.
