i am glad that you are not affected by ragebaiters!...but does that make any sense about the topic i am talking about?...you are not the ONLY player in lichess...And causes of 99.99% chat bans are ragebaiters...who efficiently ruin your day..and it comes with 4month chat ban... So if ya don;t need this feature...then no problem..i appreciate your wisdom....But let others give there view on it as well ! . I am sure ..i will be getting a fair share of players with same problem and demands... And "suggestion " section in forum is made to give "suggestions" not to worship the current features,Or try to let down the possibility of changes ..I hope you understood me....thanks for your VALUABLE(maybe) time !
To be fair, I completely agree with this. Ragebaiters ruin your mood; your games; your day, potentially.
Once i got ragebaited somewhere and that day I lost all games, sadly.
This feature would be epic!!!
I completely agree with @Raquarez .
I mean with growing age we can control our emotions but afterall there is a limit and why would I turn off chat for 1 ragebaiters.
Upon that people receive 6 or 3 months chatban mostly due to ragebaiters reasons.
So a feature to ignore(not show ) their chat in public,team tournaments would be really helpful and might reduce the no. of people getting chatbanned,

Who or what told you "99.99% chat bans are ragebaiters"? Moreover, if you "never got chat banned...nor a warning", how do you know "it comes with 4month chat ban", if I may ask?

cuz i know how "lichess works"?..i have "friends" who got chatbanned before?? ..Maybe unlike you ,who just knows how to "worship" the current features only...if you don;t want a "change"...then just continue having fun in this website!..Pls don't waste your valuable(i don't think so) time here!
I am against this change because it is unreasonable. If one cannot control one's emotions upon seeing inflammatory messages, one should turn on Kid mode, or just turn off chat.

For you kind information I will repeat "you are not the only player " On lichess... I appreciate your view.. But this forum is not for conservatives like you.. Why don't you make a special forum section in lichess know as "worship current features " And try to pamper devs in hope of getting mod one day as well...
