You asked a question, why are there so few woman in Chess, the answer is partly: men like you. Your behavior in this forum is representative of the reason.

Something can be an ad hominum and a correct argument at the same time, in this case for example.

Please stop ...you are obviously being emotional about the question and trying to drag this to off topic conversation ....lets try to be calm....and stay on topic ....okay ....maybe drop some stats ...so we could get deep into the topic......
And if you happen not to have anything beneficial to add to the conversation....you do have that right to be quiet.

Chess is a gamble if one considers pursuing it professionally considering women are

So are you saying 'women not taking risks'...as the reason for the low participation in chess ?

What I meant is - women face more systemic hurdles. Since they prefer more stable careers over something like chess which doesn't even pay well at lower levels.

Is this your gender based psychological manipulation in practice?

Currently, about 85–90% of competitive FIDE-rated chess players are men, while only 10–15% are women.
What could possibly be the reason.....

Because chess is historically a gated games for males. A good thing is that's it changing, albeit slowly. We're at 10-15% now, but it will get better overtime.

But ..but....art doesnt pay at lower levels ....and there is no shortage of women in the art scene......if they preferred stable careers as you say.......based on that ...you should expect a lot of women in the chess scene as well........why is that ?
