I've came back to chess now (thx to my cousin lol) and reinstalled Lichess. Now, I can't navigate as easily through the menus as I used to do. I'm not necessarily saying that it's difficult to navigate through, it's just that I loved the old design (even if it did look old). Is there a way to change the UI back to how it previously was?
No one would recommend it, but you could download the old app's apk-file at https://github.com/lichess-org/lichobile/releases/tag/v8.0.0 - the problem is, it is not just a different UI, it is another app entirely, and it is no longer maintained.

I still have the old app (the new app doesn't work for me for some reason), and it works fine. Eventually I'm sure it will fail, and it definitely isn't maintained, but it does work.
I have the same question regarding UI + what are the advantages of the new app from the users point. Is there a feature list?
The look and feel of the new app discourages my from using the app. I feel like its in every aspect worse than the old one.
