It would IMHO make sense not to display the information if the time to claim a win is longer than opponent's remaining time.

The problem is that it's possible to add extra time to the clock.

But that’s not possible in this case—or at least it doesn’t make sense: If my opponent gives me extra time, he has to get back into the game first. And if I give my opponent extra time, I’m not interested in ending the game early.
