Weird bug in tournament game

Playing in the <1500 rapid just now, in my last game my opponent (playing black) made a move, then the move looked like it was taken back, their timer counted all the way down and when it got to zero the message came up saying "Black time out - Black is victorious" which is obviously weird. Now when I look at the game their last move was in fact played and I lost on time.

I tried while the game was running to back and forth in the moves, tried to make a move (obviously couldn't as it was still their move). I didn't think to refresh the page, that only occurs to me now. Should I have just refreshed?
