I was playing a rapid game, with advantage, and the server crashed for about 30 minutes. When the problem was fixed, I found out that Lichess counted the game as a defeat just because it was my turn to play and I lost 7 points of rating, while my opponent received 5. Tjhe least Lichess can do is to give me back my 7 points. Please try to correct this mistake. I didn't disconnect, it was the server.

Tonight, for about a half hour, I suddenly was unable to get to Lichess -- apparently because of some arcane technical problem that, fortunately, went away a few minutes ago. I was again able to return. That might not make everybody happy, but it certainly made ME happy.
Whenever we lose something we love, it reminds us of just how much we valued that thing. In this case, the 20 minute absence of Lichess made me wish I were Shakespeare, so I could write something like:
Hark, what light from yonder computer screen breaks? It is fair Lichess -- beautiful beyond other websites, in my humble and flapless opinion.
Losing rating points is not pleasant, I'm sure -- and I sympathize with the original poster and hope he or she can be helped
But at least we're all still here -- ready to see a bright tomorrow and still more Lichess. If I could spell hallelujah, I'd type that!
