Bug (Q promotion)

I keep getting the same bug on promoting Q. It won't show the piece on promotion in the time scramble, I can move this ghost Q but I don't see it so I lose rating because I get distracted, could you please fix it!

sometimes i have the same problem too, mabye it's a poor network problem?

It could be! Glad I am not the only one having the same issue, I hope they can fix it soon, it's been like that for several months

Try to switch browsers or disable browser extensions (especially ad-blockers and tracker-blockers).

Seems like the invisible pieces bug again. A workaround iirc was too choose a non vector graphic based piece set but i can't recall which one atm.

I have encountered this bug for the third time. For example, it happened in this game:

I have automatic promotion to queen enabled. When I make a promotion move, the pawn disappears, but the queen does not appear for several seconds. This has always resulted in me losing the game on time because the move is not completed.

This issue appeared only recently.

After the game ends, a few more seconds pass and then the queen finally appears on the board.

The bug only occurs during pawn promotion. I do not have any ad blockers or other browser extensions that could interfere with Lichess. I am using Google Chrome.

I consistently run into this issue too, every game I promote. Not sure if related, but I noticed it started around the time when the new app was released-- my connection time to games increased (on web browser), the "invisible" queen promotion bug started, and I often get random buffers where the game doesn't connect in time before it auto-aborts. Quite frustrating user experience.
