Hi, i have a very important league game this Saturday. My opponent plays King's Indian and reacts with 6...c5 to a classical system. What is the best reaction? Maybe not play 6.Be2, maybe there are trickier moves

With 6...c5 instead of 6...e5 it is no King's Indian but Ben Oni. Just push 7 d5.

i played a youth league a year ago against an opponent who had 1900 elo and played the same way, first he posted the kings indian defense setup and then played c5, i prepared with computer and it evaluated that the best thing to do is play the classic system with be2, be3, and move to d5 and when the opponent plays e6 then take the e-pawn, then put the knight on d2 and play on the queenside, although i lost in the end because i was afraid of some tactics etc... but i would recommend you to play it like this, it was enjoyable for me to play this way and black has to play precisely
