Find the unexpected blow! (2 positions) + Punish Bad Coordination (2 positions)

Hello everyone. I'am a 8 year old boy and this is my second blog. Today I will show you 2 positions of Find The Unexpected Blow and 2 positions of Punish Bad Coordination.

First thing is that what does Find the unexpected blow mean? Yes, it means brilliant moves. And the second thing is that what does Punish Bad Coordination mean? Of course, it means that our opponent's pieces are not connected and we must punish it. So let's move forward to our first position of Find the unexpected blow!

image.pngThis is the first position. Think about five to ten minutes then check your answer below. And it is white to play.

The answer is - Qe7+!! its a brillliant move and you will find out how.

image.pngAs you can see by the arrows that the seventh rank rooks are very powerful on d7 and a7. Another thing is that the queen is very powerful. And one last thing is that the d6 pawn is also very powerful. Now let's talk about black's position. Black pieces are not well coordinated like the rook on h8 is not doing anything. The second thing is that the king on f8 is very week and with Qe7+ we target it. The last thing is that the knight on h6 is also doing nothing. So, here we punish black by not coordinating his pieces by Qe7+. The line can go like this- Qe7+ if black goes Kg8 then there is Qxe8# So black has to capture Rxe7 and after that, we play dxe7+ The main line goes with Qxe7 Rxe7 and we are an exchange up and if he plays Ke8 or Kg8 the in both cases there is Rd8#. So we are done with the first position let's move on the last position of Find the unexpected blow!.

image.pngagain think for 5 to 10 minutes then check the answer below. And it is white to play.

The answer is......Qd7!!
In this position, the e5 knight is attacked and it is well placed and we don't want to remove it. So we play Qd7 centerlizing the queen on the second rank and the is not only to take the bishop on b7 but the real threat is to play Rc7 and the mate will not be stopped. For example, after Qd7 black plays dxe5 then Rc7 Rxc7 forced move Rxc7 and the mate on g7 can't be stopped. So, black should go for Rxc2 Rxc2 and Qd8 but it is game over for black after Qf7+ Kh8 and Rc7. So now our chapter Find the Unexpected blow! is over so now let's move on to the final chapter.

The final chapter is Punish Bad Coordination.
I will give you 2 positions. First, you have solve the both puzzles by thinking 5 to 10 minutes then check your answer below the puzzle.

This is the first position of the last chapter. And it is black to play. And after you solve it check the answer below.

The answer is.........a2!!
You might hve been thinking about Ng4+ Kh3 and Qg1 and the mate can't be stopped on h2 but it is true that it can't be stopped but the thing is that white can do a perpetual by Qe7+ Kg8 Qe8+ Kg7 Qe7+ Kg6 and Qe6+ and the checks can't be stopped so it will be a draw. But we want to win so we play a2 deflecting the queen from e6 so it can't give a perpetual when it take's the pawn on a2. And the line can go like this- a2 Qxa2 Ng4+ Kh3 Qg1 and after Bf3 Nf2+ Qxf2 Qxf2 and we are winning. And if instead of Bf3 white plays Qa1+ or Qc3 + then Kg6 and no more checks are possible.
Now let's move on to the final position of the blog.

image.pngHere it is black to play. And after you solve it check the answer below.

The answer is.................Rxd4!!
The first thing is that we have the bishop pair advantage. And the follow up of Rxd4 is-Rxd4 Kxd4 c5+ Kc4 b5 + Kxb5 Bxc3 and we have two pieces for a rook and that also bishop pair which benifits black and if after c5+ White plays Ke3 then also we play Bxc3 and we have two pieces for a rook and that also bishop pair.

Thank you for seeing and I hope that you got something to learn about Find the Unexpected blow! and Punish Bad Coordination
