Failing to follow principles

While chess strategy is very important. I feel like the two most important things you must be good at are analysis and board vision. Especially post move consideration analysis. If I miss a material loss due to faulty analysis or miss an obvious move due to bad board vision then I lose. This is how I lose most of my games. Frustrating!

A suggestion, do not feel bad. Do not play for a draw, you could have pushed. But its alright if you were tired :)

100% and I don't feel bad! I think 9 times out of 10 I'm going to play for a win in that situation, but I was just so out of it that day that I didn't want to play a long endgame. Appreciate your comment!
