Excellent essay. Thank you for sharing. After almost 20 years of playing chess, I only recently learned to slow down and think about my next move. By recently I mean only in the last three or four months. And what a difference that has made. Chess seems more like a place I go than something I do. I like it. I like it a lot.

Enough of that. The image on your lichess profile (Mind Your Head) immediately made me think of Grace Slick singing White Rabbit at Woodstock back in 1969. I wasn't there but I was a fan of Jefferson Airplane and especially Grace at that time. If you haven't seen or heard her/it, take three minutes and enjoy.
