one of my saddest blunders:

instead of Qxd8, i blundered and played Bb5 (24).
i think i was stressed about time, and got too complacent as well.

White has just played 7.Bf1-b5+. How would you interpose?
Nobody in their right mind would play 7...Nfd7, would they?
I did, and after 8.Qxd5 it was goodnight from me.

Unlucky! I sympathise with the possible reasons - after all the hard work is done, one move is all it takes to lose it all.
I've added it to the study with your comments, thanks for sharing.

Ouch, that one must have hurt. It was in an U-9 tournament so I'm sure you'll put this one behind you before too long - mistakes are unavoidable on the way to getting better.

In hindsight, it all seems obvious, but sometimes we make the worst oversights during a game don't we?
