Antichess: 5 mistakes not to make

Splitian Trap : 10. ...Bh3 wins for black.

Splitian Trap : 10. ...Bh3 wins for black.

Classical defence; rook defence variation
f6 sets the trap where Nf3 is losing immediately due to the e5 with Bishop zwich, which is hard to see on the spot. It is not a completely opening phase one might argue, or, it is a pretty deep theory you may say, but still, it is interesting to see.

Possible line:

  1. e3 b5 2. Bxb5 Ba6 3. Bxd7 Nxd7 4. d3 Bxd3 5. Qxd3 Rb8 6. Qxh7 Rxh7 7. b4 Rxb4 8. c4 Rxh2 9. Rxh2 Rxb1 10. Rxb1 Qb8 11. Rxb8 Nxb8 12. c5 Nc6 13. a4 a5 14. Kd2 f6 (theoretical win until the 15th move) 15. Nf3 ??

Or there are many traps in the g3. I won't give them all ;) but here are the ones that are easy to fall for beginners and some intermediate players that unsuccessfully try to complicate things:

  1. g3 Nh6 2. g4 Nxg4 3. Bg2 Nxh2 4. Bxb7 Bxb7 5. Rxh2 Bd5 6. Rxh7 Rxh7 ??

Here you also use the common idea of zwiches.

or this one

  1. g3 g6 2. Nh3 g5 3. Nxg5 Nf6 ??
