Useful Tips for Beginners and Intermediates in Middlegame and Endgame

Revising these kinds of things is useful. I do a lot better when I do and much worse when I don't so there's clearly more work to do. Thanks for putting in the time writing this post!

The 2nd diagram is something I find the most difficult: My primate brain thinks "After exchanging queens I can grab a pawn" and I go for it.
It's hard for me to stay objective in such situations. Ideas come to my mind like "what if grabbing this pawn is the only opportunity I have left to win the game?"
Thx for sharing.

The Question : What should I do when I control the center?
The answer in the blog : Control the center

But good blog in general :)

Is it error " With the idea of Ng6 - Bf4, it would have been better" in the first example commentary ?
would it be correct to write Ng6-Nf4 ?

thanks

I'd be more impressed if you worked with people 1-to-1. Little of that post makes any sense because you aren't gearing it to neurodivergents (like me).
