Issues I have with embedding studies:

  • Even when I want it to start on the first move, it always embeds on the last move. I use the "share" with "start from initial position" ticked, and it still ends up on the final move.
  • When I correct an embedded study chapter, upon saving and refreshing the page, the old version of the study chapter still appears in the blog post. Is it cached?

You have to go to the position you want on the chapter, and this will show:

Then you copy the link and paste it on your blog.

Yeah that happens to me too. You just gotta wait. The new version will show after an hour or less I think (don't know the exact time it takes, but I don't think it's long).

Embedding was always pretty wonky. Because of the limited interface and the various problems, I prefer to put images in my blogs and link to studies or Analysis Board.

But I would have expected the study link to work with #0 at the end of the URL as the first move. If it doesn't work, I guess it's a bug you need to report. As for the cache, had no idea about that. Live and learn, I guess...
