That's so cool. The funny thing is the solution to the duplex is how I first tried to solve the original!
Oh the pawn can take on e1 how did I not think of that. It quickly becomes clear that a simple e5 takes knight on f3 is way too slow to be the solution, so the pawn has to take the rook, so it has to be a underpromotion to a knight, but I didn't think about getting the Black knight to e1, so it can go to f3 instantly that's so clever
That's honestly the craziest thing that came out of this year's advent of chess.
