@panic-pawn Ich bin mit dem Buch auch groß geworden und es ist sicher sehr gut als Einstieg für Anfänger geeignet oder auch zur Auffrischung von Mittelspieltaktiken. Mit dem Dogmatismus zu den Eröffnungen ist allerdings aus moderner Sicht wenig anzufangen. Unter anderem ist da schon im Mittelspiel das Kapitel "Angriffsmarke h3", wo es heißt, nach 1. e4 e5 2. Sf3 Sc6 3. Lc4 Lc5 4. Sc3 Sf6 5. 0-0 d6 6. h3 wäre Weiß schon auf der Verlustschiene, weil mit h6-g5-g4 ein unwiderstehlicher Angriff hereinbräche. Das ist einfach Quatsch. Weiß kann genug Gegenspiel im Zentrum mit c3-d4 generieren, wie ich als Schwarzer schon mehrfach leidlich erfahren habe.

Is there an English version of this? I don't understand German.
