It might me to dispell and contrast what complete information set in one hand means. versus acknowledging that we need long term many games point of view. I think the contrast in this blog, and yet the similarity are well articulated.

But it leaves the chess many games aspect to the video medium... which i did not go throug. The poker short term on hand, versus long term many hands or many games with many hands though is well laid out.

I think in chess there is certain amount from many to extrapolate the determinism of the one hand (one move) postiion transition to the whole game. Even taking chess theory, which is the fruit of many games experience by quite a few very good players having it put down in writing for generations to come, this denial of uncertainty in over many moves, tends to want those many games principles that might emerged from those authros experience, with the same level of certain that the single transition have.

the fact that poker single hands are incomplte and very uncertain, still allowing strategies might be the point..

If that has long term many hand statistical strategies, surely long term many games chess should have some.

it makes one think clearly about this pull toward thinking chess is all certain stuff.. by comparing outside the box we might only know.

example of historical principle from chess theory have evolved into a rule of thumb. What are those?
Knighst first. or "no queen early". as opening decision "rules". (now for beginners to survive).

These are the easy ones to view as statistical strategies that are rewarding to some rating average extent over many games, if playing within own strength neighborhood for example.

Uncertainty management could be early part of study for adult learners.
As uncertainty in spite of local certainty is part of the chess game, even at its core, as long as we are talking about human players. This is about very early one looking far ahead over many games, in relation to own decisions beliefs (learned or not).

I edited a more elaborated explanation out. leaving only highlights. This is support of looking at other games where uncertainty is more obvious, to get the notion of game theory strategies over many games. Poker compared to chess. I think we lack vocabulary to handle this chess variable, i call uncertainty beyond horizon, or more affectionately, the chess fog.
