A few things I would like to add:
- 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 d5 3.exd5 e4 4.Qe2 Nf6 5.Nc3
5.d3! is probably a fraction better.
5...Be7
"After 6.Ne4 0-0! "Black gets huge compensation with the "e" line and White’s misplaced Queen on e2" is written or said in many sources."
All these sources are indeed wrong: it should be "?!"
The main line goes 6...Nxd5 followed by 7...0-0. The threat is now Rf8-e8 and after Lc1-e3 from White: f7-f5-f4.
-
1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 d5 3.exd5 e4 4.Qe2 Nf6 5.Nc3 Bf5, to put another defender on the e4-pawn as in both your games, is of course a mistake: 6.Nd4 Bg6 7.Qb5+ Nbd7 8.Qxb7 Rb8 +-.
-
1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 d5 3.Nxe5 dxe4 4.Bc4 Qg5 5.Nxf7? Qxg2 6.Rf1 Bg4 7.Be2 Bxe2 8.Qxe2 Kxf7 9.Qc4+ Ke8 10.Qxc7 The sacrifice of a first pawn. 10...Nd7 11.Qxb7 A second. 11...Rb8 12.Qxa7 A third! 12...Bc5 13.Qa6 Ngf6 14.Qe6+ Kd8 15.Nc3? Ng4 16.Nd1?? Nxh2 0-1, an IM (2325) - me (average clubplayer), simul 2022.

1.e4 e5 2.Pf3 d5 3.Pxe5 dxe4 4.Lc4 Dg5 5.d4 Qxg2 6.Bxf7+ Kd8
This move is relatively not the best, because there are some dangers to this move. Black should play 6...Ke7 instead. 7.Rf1 Bh3 7...Nd7 is also possible. 8.Bc4! Nd7!? +/-. Both players will have to play very accurately from here. 9.Nc3!? Ngf6 10.Bf4 Rd8!? 11.Qd2 Nxe5 12.Bxe5, me as Black in a 10' game, 2019. 12...Qg4 13.Th1 +/-.
7.Rf1 Pf6! 8.Bc4 Bg4 9.Be2 Be6 10.Bf4 Kc8 =, me as Black in a 10' game, 2014.
