Atomic Chess has an active competitive scene, with some tournaments open to all players! Join those teams for more information.

• Atomic Chess League Season 2
  From February 8 to March 22 - Completed
  A team tournament where teams of 4 or 5 players face off across different time controls. Two leagues, one for 2200+ rated players, one for U2200 rated players.
• Atomic960 Swiss
  From February 9 to April 5 - Completed
  An 8-rounds 960 Swiss tournament. Who prevails when there is no theory?
• Atomic Unique Opening Quads
  From April 9 to April 30 - Completed
  A set of matches in which you have to play a different opening each game.
• Atomic960 elimination
  Currently ongoing
  An Atomic960 event with a group stage followed by a double-elimination top 16.
• Atomic World Championship
  From September to November - Registrations open in July
  The AWC is the most important tournament of the year! Its winner becomes the world champion.
