Training Openings with En Croissant

This is amazing.
only flaw is its tough to use for a beginner

unfortunately my first impression was not great when PGN import choked on my 2MB repertoire file. also using the fsrs algorithm here looks a little annoying from the perspective of the user.

Hey OP, I just wanted to say I LOVE en croissant, I've been using it for about half a year now.

I am on Mac, if I install the new version will I lose all of my engines and files from the previous version?

thank you so much <3

My Mac wouldn't open the app due to can't verify if there was malware attached. Too bad, i was looking forward to using it.

I've been looking at En Croissant for a long time, but I never really felt it had an advantage over online tools. But then I lost internet for 2 weeks so now I'm considering it again. Has anyone found it just as good or even better than e.g. chesstempo, lichess studies etc.?

Alright!

I had a pgn file I wanted to use as repertoire.

Couldn't see how to import it as it said either import game or build repertoire.
I went through file -> open and couldn't figure out to do from there.

Suggest to rename 'import game' to 'import pgn', as only later do you ask: "import as what?"...
