I'm new here but I'm experiencing strange time loss... I'm playing 10+0 rapid.
Some games after I move the clock stops for 10-15 seconds and then as soon as the player moves I lose all of that time... I end up losing game because the clock runs down... makes no sense to me. I don't have any issues with my connection normally. Am I missing something?
yes you are missing something
Check your ping. lichess does use lag compensation (you will get your time back), but only up to a certain limit (I think 3 seconds?). So when you're taking 10-15 seconds, most of that time will go away.
No, you are not missing something. It is a well known bug, it is just that the lichess admins dont care. I dont know why. Sabotage probably.

For the records, recently it also starts to mix chat messsages. And the studys also dont work properly.
