You’re retiring the old mobile app, but the new app does not have the Watch Games feature, which I use daily. Are you going to add this to the new app?
Thanks, but this is different. That option lets me watch a player.
The Watch games option in the old app lets me choose a type of game (blitz, or variant, etc.), and it then shows the highest rated game in that category being played right now. When that game ends, it switches to the next available game automatically.
On the homescreen go to the "Watch" tab at the bottom. Then under the featured broadcast you have Lichess TV.
Thanks, but again it’s not the same. All different toes of play and speed and you have to pick each one. In the old app, I select blitz, for example, and the highest rated blitz game being played displays. Once it completes, the next highest game displays, unless there’s a rematch with the same players.
I watch like this every lunch time and I enjoy it and learn a lot. I can’t use the one in the new app like this.
The new app works the same way, select the variant you want to watch and you are only watching "Blitz TV" for example. Once the game completes the next TV game starts.
