Cocaine! Cocaine! Cocaine was the answer all along!! Nah, just kidding. I had a little more time and added some of the features on my TODO list. Version 2.4.171 has a lot of new features. Here is the list:
- the collapse status of subchapters is now persistent, to solve some issues when Lichess randomly decides to reload the chapters, but also to help with page reloads.
- a new highlighting option to subtly highlight all of the nodes leading to the current position in the move list. When this is enabled and you right click/long tap on a move in the list, the highlighting will be very visible.
- a new tool to show a table of contents for blogs you read - it's pretty rough at the moment, but it works. I would appreciate you guys telling me when it doesn't behave as expected.
- the tool to bulk edit chapters now shows "empty" values as well, so you can just change the orientation or just the type of the chapters, without updating other properties.
- the live friends page tool now shows the "crosstable" score of the people in the Favorite Opponents page. The same data is being used in the lobby by a new tool called Lobby crosstable. Because the Lichess API for this is very limited, I am reproducing it locally by storing the crosstable information when you actually play.
- new player warning option to show you when they have been 150+ rating points higher than current rating, to warn about possible sandbagging. As usual with these player warnings, they are merely informative. What you choose to think they mean and do with them is entirely on you.
- the previous study menu tool now has options to choose how many to show (none, 1 to 5). The default remains 5.
- a new command called select can be now used in PGN Editor. You do something like "select 2 5" and it will select the text of five games starting with the second. This is helpful when you have more than 64 games in the PGN and you want to select them in blocks to create studies. stuff like "select 3" will select everything from the third game on.
Enjoy!
