On chess.com, I scouted multiple forums about this topic and all of them had hundreds of replies, mostly from a dozen select individuals arguing. I wanted to see if this topic would get the same results on Lichess.
*Your answer should not be based on stockfish evaluation (Grob Gambit with c4) but on your own personal opinion.
Also, not the worst first move in chess, that's already solved (g4), the worst OPENING.
Ignore eval, ignore analysis, and choose the opening you thing is bad to the bones.
Each month, I will take user suggestions and rate them based on how bad the piece activity is, the king safety, material imbalance, and yes... evaluation (But eval is only one part of it)
Choose openings with clear and decisive disadvantages, not stockfish made complex lines finally leading to material imbalance.
ALL USER SUGGESTIONS WILL BE POSTED ON THIS FORUM WITH THEIR RATING, AND THE USER WHO SUGGESTED IT.
Fools mate does not count
Rosen Trap does not count
Lasker trap does not count
Noahs Ark does not count
Any traps that are not named openings (ex: Tennison gambit with queen trap) do not count
Current List: (As of January 31st)
King's Gambit Accepted- @AnshFortnite1 (2/10) Reason: Only loses one pawn, white still has counterplay, white's king is fairly safe, and white has a target- the f pawn. Black's only target is the king, and stockfish claims, with accurate play from black, this opening is a wild rush of excitement and sacrifice, but should end in a drawn endgame.

Barnes opening. Opens up the diagonal to the king and takes away the f3 square from the knight

Any opening where the play is difficult and sharp where a draw is the best result for one side

A worst opening ? I think all opening have a good and bad ideas/solutions/main line, but, if a choose one of then, I think the worst opening is the Scandinave (w/ black) and King's Pawn Opening : Alapin Opening (w/ white)
