Hi there,
I've been using Lichess studies a lot for coaching and I think it's awesome. However, sadly, I still rely on Chessbase for reviewing material as it's easier to navigate analysis there. I realise a big reason is this: for variations/sub-variations, CB uses a variation pop-up (which you can flick through with arrow keys alone, i.e. without using the mouse) whereas Lichess doesn't. It shows variation options at the bottom of the notation, but this can be very easily missed, especially if you are mainly looking at the board, not the notation.
Would this be a feature worth implementing?
Also more generally, it is somehow difficult to see where a sub-variation begins/ends when looking at the notation. Perhaps it is a question of font sizing/spacing/emboldening.
Thx,
Justin.

The LiChess Tools browser extension adds some stuff related to this, including highlighting variations. Perhaps you could give it a try. I am the developer, so if you have any particular requests, I am willing to entertain them.
