RKWC suspended

The Racing Kings community has suffered another big loss, our dear player @Grainiac got banned by rating inflation.

But here's the topic.
Months ago the best of ours (@FalconPower as leader) have reunited to organize a tournament which would decide who is the best, and people joined as it was predicted.

Everything was OK until Falcon closed his account, the ''world cup'' got disorganized, there were no longer anybody to administrate the branches until Grainiac came and reordered everything.
Now he is no longer connecting and the oldest players (@babosos , @a_47) neither are.

We dont have anyone to organize, and the participants are really confused...
Also we all know that this variant is not so popular to feature it in huge tournaments and thousands of people participating, but i would like the community to try out racing kings and perhaps, join our tournament.

The next (and last) petition will be directed to the mods. We would really appretiate if anyone of them voluteered to re-organize and control the tournament

Finally, if anyone wanted to contribute with any amount of money to our pot (which is still empty) we could make this tournament bigger and encourage more players to participate

@TheYuriy it is never a loss if someone gets banned rightfully. Community can only gain if bad guys are banned. Maybe you should try to organize it, I think you can handle it ;)

All right I’m not gone, I can still reorganize the tournament, just tell me the score, results. I just wont be there.

@E101 He has "This player artificially increases/decreases their rating" on the profile. That means he was either boosting or sandbagging.

Sandbagging = Artificially losing your rating, and the simpler of the two to do. If there were say some $100,000 prize money for an u2000 chess tournament some GMs & IMs would be greatly tempted to lose a bunch of games to a lot of lower rated players and shed rating points down to be able to enter.

Boosting = The opposite of sandbagging. It's a bit more complicated. It's like if I make a 2nd (or many more) account(s) get it to about my rating, then play some games against it smashing it for rating points until I gain a bunch, and repeating the process. In theory, if I made tons of accounts and boosted them off each other I could get one of them to 3500+ rating points. Figure if I start with two 1500 fresh start accounts. Play them against each other. Play some moves then 1 side resigns. Account 1 beats account 2 until account 1 is 1700 rated. Account 2 is tossed out... In comes account 3. Account 3 stomps on account 1 until it is 1900 rated. Account 1 is trashed, and account 4 comes along. Account 4 stomps on account 3 until it's 2100 rated, and so on all the way up the ladder until it's #1 on the rated list having never actually played any serious games and only playing in a way to raise rating points. Using this method a player with the skills of a 1000 rated player could be rated 3000. It's all artificial though so yes it' s very much cheating!

Graniacs ban doesn't state if he was sandbagging or boosting, but judging by the fact his rating was really high he was likely a booster.
