https://lichess.org/@/CyberShredder/blog/open-source-chess-software-list/viWFcTCo#rather-fun-ones There are some websites and browser extensions for that, I wrote about them a note

I think they should add achievments to Lichess as it will increase the community and it would just be fun. The only reason i joined Lichess so late was that i wanted to gain some chess.com achievments first. There should also be an option to remove them for people who want distraction-free chess.
I agree.

I agree.
Or just stay at chess.com, which is basically facebook for chess. Lichess is a chess website. Achievements? What is this..FarmVille?

lichess is great place to play chess, not to make memes unlike chess com. In my honest opinion lichess doesn't need to increase community especially with low rated players.

About achievements. It's a feature for a feature. But Lichess is opensource so you can write code for your own, if you really need it.

yeah i dont really like the idea of achievements, leave all the bloated features with chess.com. there is a reason why lichess is such a good platform to play chess on
chess is not a video game fps shooter etcetc, it is a game you play to relax and exercise your brain, a board game.
minimal, libre, foss, doesnt get in your way, etc etc the list could go on
thibault is a great person to provide us with this

I think we not only should have achievements but we should have a ranking for the amount of trophies/achievements you have and the amount should be infinite.

Then Lichess would become like one of those 'Gardenscapes' where you literally feed cows with grass, and it looks all imagination and feels like a juggling system. Remember that Chesscube was banned because it involved gambling with rewards. Chesscube was my favorite back then, but I had to leave it. Hope thi helps
