The Modern Benoni is a great response to 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 e6 3. Nf3. This way you can avoid the dangerous lines where White plays f4 and Bb5+, because the Knight is already on f3. You just need to learn something against 3. Nc3, like the Nimzo (which can be aggressive as well).

If you learn the Hedgehog the Paulsen/Kan sicilian is great. Also the Scheveningen.
