I'm sure this has been asked somewhere before but I cound't find anything when I googled it. I want to know if my blunders affect how many points I get (or lose) at the end of a rated game? So if I win the game but I've made a lot of blunders, does the rating system take these into account when it awards points to the winner (and deducts points from the loser).
No. The only things that matter are: Your and your opponent's ratings, and the game result; not how well the game's played.
And the rating deviations.
