About me

I am Daniel Sanz Wawer, Fide Master with 2 nationalities (Polish and Spanish). I achieved 3 IM norms and my peak rating was 2397. Actually I live in Spain where I am an active player.
Feel free to contact me on my profile on facebook, on my mail which is danielsw2003@gazeta.pl or via lichess.

Playing experience

I come from a family with a huge chess tradition, that's why chess was present in my life since childehood. I scored many medals in Polish and Spanish Youth Championships, including gold ones. I scored 3 IM norms and on live rating I passed 2400.

Teaching experience

Untill now I had both over the board and online chess lessons. Some of my students grew their rating from 1500/1600 to over 2000.

Other experiences

I study geography at the University.

Best skills

In my opinion it's very important to study the play of the classical players (from Morphy to the actuality). Besides of a solid opening repertoire, I think the most important skill it's precise calculation.

Teaching methodology

I focus the most on analyzing the games of the students and avoiding his/her typical mistakes in the future. The biggest emphasis I put on is precise calculation and tactics. Training games are also possible.
