I'm WIM Arpita Mukherjee, a passionate chess player who loves the game’s strategy and challenges. Chess has shaped my thinking, planning, and problem-solving skills. I enjoy studying openings, analyzing games, and continuously improving my play. It inspires my focus, creativity, and confidence both on and off the board.

I have been playing chess since 2008. My fide peak rating has been 2309.

Highlights of my chess career so far:

Women International Master.
Won various international and national medals.
Played in more than 20 countries.
Recently, I secured silver medals in the women's category at two major tournaments: the Serbia Chess Open 2025 and the La Plagne Chess Tournament 2025.

I have been teaching chess for over three years, sharing my experience and knowledge with students of all levels.
