The MPL Indian Chess Tour 2022 is a 15-Round-robin-tournament, held from March 31st to April 3rd online on chess24.

This tournament is the first regional expansion of the Meltwater Champions Chess Tour. The tournament features four 15-Round-robin-tournaments, where from the four winners and the top 4 by Tour standings, qualify for the 8-player knockout final.
The winner of each event gets a place on the Meltwater Champions Chess Tour as well.

Time control is 15 minutes for the whole game, with a 10-second-increment starting from move one.
