The 20th edition of the annual Delhi International will take place from the 23rd to the 30th of March 2023 in New Delhi, India.

The tournament is a celebration of India's emerging chess generation, with young prodigies often dominating the strong, international field. The prize pool, which will be distributed among dozens of players, is ₹12,500,000 (about $150,000).

The tournament will be held as a 10-round Swiss, and the first three rounds will be accelerated according to the FIDE handbook. Players may not agree to a draw without the consent of the arbiter before each player makes 30 moves.

Time control is 90 minutes for the entire game with a 30-second increment beginning from move one.
