Tournament Summary:

  • Rd 1: Smooth win
  • Rd 2: Heartbreaking endgame loss—qualification chances now slim
  • Rd 3: Easy win
  • ½ Rd 4: Better position, but only drew—officially out of Top 4 race
  • Rd 5: Tough game vs London System with Black—fought back to win
  • Rd 6: Wild turnaround vs CM (1910 Elo). I blundered a piece but my opponent later returned the favor—I won and secured 5th place!

Although I missed the Top 4 cutoff, I became 1st reserve. Then, miraculously, Antoine withdrew, and I officially qualified for Masters 2025!
Thank you God Jesus Christ for this unexpected blessing!

Why It Matters
Top 5 in Masters 2025 will qualify for the Chess Olympiad 2026 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Still all to play for!

5th Francophone Online Team Championship 2025
I represented Mauritius on Board 2. Out of 42 teams, we placed 25th.
I scored 5/11 against tough opposition.

It was a fun team event, and our performance improved overall.

I felt clear improvement in my play this month. Every game is a lesson.

Bible Verse of the Month:
“A righteous man may fall seven times and rise again.” – Proverbs 24:16

Grateful to God Jesus for all the progress. Looking forward to what’s ahead!
