February was an exciting month filled with learning and achievements!
**This month, I won the Best Clip $100 Prize in GM Hikaru’s Chess 4 The Masses tournament. **
**As a School Instructor (SI), I attended the Lead School Instructor (LSI) course and passed the exam with 90% (well above the 65% required). Proud to now hold the LSI title! **
IM Divya Deshmukh, 2024 World Junior Girls Champion, visited Mauritius, and I attended her masterclass. Unfortunately, I couldn’t play in her simul as it clashed with my LSI course.
There were no OTB tournaments in February, but March will be different! I’ll compete in two Classical OTB tournaments: ** Open Austral (7 Rds) – Reunion Island** ** Republic Cup (6 Rds) – Mauritius** Both with a 1h + 30s increment time control.
