Adolescent Shenanigans
Yup, six years of an extremely new life formYou're all good till the age of 12. Toddler life,
toddler friends(especially no fear of having toddler girlfriends) and even your parents take care of you, thinking "he's too small to handle situations and stuff, yeah"
Yup. Life's chill. Until you reach 13.
Your mom says "Hey you're 13 now! Care for a piece of cake! Aw, my boy's a teen now..."
You hear the word teen. You know you're in for a long ride.
Year 13-15? : You're still in high school, but you're teen
Teenage always begins with emotional and physical changes. You just can't tolerate that it's happening, your childhood's coming to an end( except those people who want to marry in the future or something like that) But yeah, you get confused. You have emotional swings. Minor to major, it depends. You start to grow some kind of a self-pride, to say the least
"I'm a teen now mom! Now will you stop saying me chores to do?" Obviously you know what's going to happen next yet you are pretty deterred.
You try to get friends- I mean attention- so that you are famous in your school. And by that, I mean stealing, bullying the minors, throwing chalks here and there, flirting (yeah, deal with it, you're kinda handsome), and so on. You also kinda get mature, little in this age.
Year 16-17: Yay, out of high school
You're out of that filthy school. Time to find a college.(I guess it's still high school but you're old enough to be distinguished)
You're probably making plans to go out and travel, reading that "Around The World In 80 Days" book you stole from your school library and never returned (for example), or you're planning to (date? Wait that's too far) hang out with other girls/boys. You're pretty chill, listening to k-pop, or classical Mozart(I dunno your preference) and, yeah you're enjoying your life. "Might as well start a YouTube channel or work at a coffee shop when I grow up" you think. Little do you know what's going to happen.
Year 18-19: Official Adult
You somehow spend the college days, trying to be popular, trying to make friends of your own, organising parties and all.
Maybe you think studies are important, maybe you don't. It's up to you. Although it is pretty much next to impossible to show that you're an adult in front of your friends that are the same age, It is easy to show that to kids(either online or outside college). You pretty much become a critic of everything. "The college life is awesome/bad", "Oh my god the dorms", "Oh my god the food", etc. However, there is one sense of freedom within you that arises at this age. If you are determined to open that one YouTube channel that highlights your college life, then no one is stopping you. If you're determined to throw a party to girls older than you(not very advisable), no one is stopping you. Yeah, do whatever the hell you want to.
Sometimes, you look back to the good old days of "When I was 12 I used to..." but when you think of what is happening in the present, you wonder whether the childhood days were better than the college days at all.
You miss your old friends, then the sense of a weird nostalgia comes up. Right then some of your college friends ask you out for a party, and you're all in. Life flows, and we move on.
