Fischer Random Trainer

ChessChess variant
Train your calculation. Let the engine guide your intuition

Fischer Random (Chess960) randomizes the back-rank pieces, giving 960 unique starting positions. Bobby Fischer created it to fight opening theory overload and emphasize real chess skill: creativity, calculation, and understanding from move one.

This trainer draws from the popular Hand and Brain format. Stockfish acts as your Brain: on your turn, it highlights which piece to move. You, the Hand, decide where and how. Play your move, then reveal the engine's idea and compare. It's excellent for building calculation depth and intuition in unfamiliar positions, skills that transfer directly to classical chess.

I'm using it myself to get better at Chess960 (and calculation in general). I hope it helps your training as much as it helps mine.
