HCC's next classical tournament is set to begin during the week of March 17th. Please register by filling out this form We are tentatively planning European (Tuesdays at 19hUTC) and Western Hemisphere (Thursdays at 7pm EST) sections as we offered in our winter tournament. Detailed rules on pairings, scoring, etc. can be found here.
In our last event we returned to a fixed day and time for each round of play. This turned out quite well, particularly on Thursday evenings where our video kibitzing sessions became quite popular and fun. It is still possible of course to agree to a different time and/or day with your opponent to accommodate time zone differences or scheduling conflicts.
Among the more than 40K players who played classical games on lichess.org last week there are surely many players that would join us if only they were aware of our events and of the quality of the social interactions that are part of them. If you can convince others you know to join us or find other ways to promote this tournament, please do. Everyone is welcome.
In the past we asked you to message the Tournament Director to register. For this event we have created a registration form instead. The deadline to register (although late joiners can be accommodated) is the end of the day March 16th. See you there !
