In Ultra Bullet, you don't have time to find the best move. You barely have time to find a legal move. It is a game of pure instinct, pre-moves, and lightning-fast mouse mechanics.
If you want to stop flagging and start dominating the 15-second arena, here is your ultimate survival guide.

1. Master the Art of Premoves
In Ultra Bullet, your clock is your most valuable piece. If you are moving after your opponent plays, you are already losing.

Stack 'em up: On platforms like Lichess, you can make multiple pre-moves in a row. Use this to force opening sequences or execute ladder checkmates without burning a single millisecond.

Expect the expected: Pre-move recaptures instantly. If your opponent takes your bishop, your pawn should already be moving to take back.
The Golden Rule: Never pre-move an attack if your opponent has a check available. They will see your pre-move coming, check you, and ruin your entire sequence.

2. Ditch the Perfect Openings
Forget deep, theoretical lines. By the time you remember the 12th move of the Ruy Lopez, you’ll have 3 seconds left on your clock.
